  • Presentations will take place on Thursday and Friday, October 25th & 26th.
  • Please help your child to gather any needed material, but please note that we have some supplies here and I don't want families contributing a lot of money to anything- we can be resourceful!
  • The project is an IN SCHOOL project, only gathering of materials is to be completed outside of the school day.  If your child is feeling behind this coming weekend, he or she can work on it then.
  • Please note that hot glue guns or spray paint are not allowed in school, so if  any part of your child's project is supposed to be done with those type of prohibited materials, please complete that portion at home with your child.

Upcoming Dates:

  • Colonies Choice Board Projects due Thursday, October 25th.  Presentations for those projects will be on Thursday and Friday October 25th and 26th.
  • 13 Colonies test will be on Tuesday, October 30th.  It will be OPEN NOTES. Please ensure that your child's notes are up to date and ready for the test.  Study guides will be given out on Monday 10/22 but here is an electronic version: Study Guide for Colonial America Test.pdf

If your child is Absent:

  • Your child is still expected to read for 30 minutes daily, even when absent from school.
  • Students should also complete the Reading Log for that absent day, so that the log will receive full credit if possible.
  • Please note however, that if your child is out for an extended period of time, or does not receive the Reading log hard copy, due to being absent on a Monday, there can be exceptions to this rule and the child can be excused from the completion of the log on a case by case basis.
